Celbridge Community First Responders (CFR)

Formed in 2018, Celbridge CFR provide emergency cardiac response in the Celbridge area. When you call 999 or 112 and ask for an ambulance, we will be dispatched to your home or business in the case of heart-related emergencies, and begin treatment while the ambulance is on the way.

Our certified & vetted volunteers are equipped with AEDs (defibs) and can respond to emergencies related to cardiac arrest, heart attack, choking and stroke. We aim to arrive faster than the ambulance and can begin high quality CPR a lot sooner, enhancing the chances of survival.
