Prader Willi Syndrome Association Ireland

Prader Willi Syndrome Association Ireland (PWSAI) supports people who have PWS, their families and carers.

Prader Willi Syndrome is a complex genetic disorder that typically causes low muscle tone, cognitive disabilities, problem behaviours, and a chronic feeling of hunger that can lead to excessive eating and life-threatening obesity.

Our mission is to raise awareness and understanding of PWS and to improve the choice of and quality of care, education and support for people who have PWS.

PWSAI offers a range of training packages for a variety of professionals working with individuals with PWS. We can tailor our courses to suit a range of service providers including residential and respite care settings, educational settings and other providers of services to adults and children with PWS.
